This article will talk about some of the best restaurants to eat at in Chicago – including the restaurant’s location and important details for each one. So, we now begin our overview of some of Chicago’s best eating places.
Chicago Chop House
The Chicago Chop House is one of the “Windy City’s” finest steakhouse and serves up a mean porterhouse steaks and fine vintage wines! Located on 60 West Ontario Street, across from Clark Street, the steakhouse, also, offers its patrons steaks such as New York strip and prime rib – making your mouth water is it? It is doing the same for mine, but we will move along to the wines that will also liven up your taste buds! As for the wine, they are made from the finest vineyards from California and Bordeaux in France. Yes, you can choose an array of over 500 of these wines, as they satisfy even the pickiest of wine connoisseurs. Also, cigars are available at the Chop House, for $8-$20 a dozen and the dress code is business casual.
Hard Rock Café
If you are a traditional American music lover, the Hard Rock Café, also located on West Ontario Street, is the place for you to be. Yes, sit down and enjoy your burger, fries and drink, while jamming to authentic American music and/or see rock music memorabilia from the past – which includes stars such as Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Buddy Holly. In addition to the features of this classic-style restaurant, they offer a variety of beers to satisfy your ever-screaming taste buds (all American beer, here!)
Wishbone Soul Food Restaurant
If you are lover of soul food, like I am, you should head down to the Wishbone Café, located on 1001 West Washington Boulevard. This soul-foot eatery offers its patrons an array of southern-style foods and drinks. Oh, yes to this place if you want to chow down to some home down helpings of corn cakes, blue claw crab cakes, black beans, collard greens, with a glass or two of sweet tea, orange juice or another drink. Well, all I have to say is come on down and try the food for yourself!
Well, there are plenty more fine eateries and restaurants that you and your companions can chow down to some good food and drinks at, but the three restaurants mentioned in this article, should be on top of your list for restaurants to eat in, while in Chicago. Well, until next time, enjoy the “Windy City” and happy visit!
